This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal and business information that you provide when using our ERP platform, related services, and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our services.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information: Personal data: name, email address, phone number, job title, and company data that you provide when registering or contacting us. Business data: operational information that you enter into the ERP system, including inventories, purchase and sales orders, customer and supplier data, financial records, and commercial documents. Usage data: information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and performance data. Email data: when you use our Gmail integration, we access the data necessary to send emails on your behalf (invoices, quotations, address forms) according to the permissions you grant. Technical data: IP address (anonymized via hashing), browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and log data.
Google API Scopes & Limited Use Disclosure
Wiger AI integrates with the Google Gmail API to enable our users to send emails directly from the ERP platform (such as invoices, quotations, and address forms). API scopes we use: — gmail.send: to send emails on behalf of the user. — gmail.readonly: to verify the delivery status of sent emails. How we use this data: solely to send emails that the user explicitly requests through our ERP platform and to confirm their delivery. What we do NOT do: we do not read, analyze, or store the content of emails other than those sent through our platform. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or training artificial intelligence models. Compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy: Wiger AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Explicit Limited Use clause: The use and transfer by Wiger AI to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means we limit our use of data to providing and improving user-requested features, we do not transfer data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, we do not use data for advertising purposes, and we allow individuals to revoke access at any time.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes: — Provide, operate, and maintain our ERP platform and its features. — Send emails on your behalf through the Gmail integration (invoices, quotations, forms). — Process transactions and manage your account. — Communicate with you about service updates, technical support, and administrative notices. — Analyze usage patterns to improve functionality and user experience. — Comply with legal and regulatory obligations. — Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activities.
Data Storage & Security
We implement technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your information: — Encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher for all communications. — Encryption at rest for data stored in our databases. — Role-based access controls with multi-factor authentication for authorized personnel. — Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. — Infrastructure hosted on cloud providers with industry-recognized security certifications. — Continuous monitoring and activity logging for anomaly detection. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary: — Google LLC: for the Gmail API integration, in accordance with the permissions you grant. — Cloud infrastructure providers: for data hosting and processing. — Payment service providers: for processing financial transactions. — Legal advisors and regulatory authorities: when required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights. All third parties with data access are subject to confidentiality and data processing agreements.
Data Retention
We retain your personal and business information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Account data: retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and up to 5 years after termination, as required by Mexican tax and commercial law. ERP data: retained while the account is active. Upon termination, we provide a 30-day period for you to export your data before permanent deletion. Gmail email data: sending metadata is retained for 12 months. We do not store email content beyond successful delivery. Usage and analytics logs: retained in anonymized form for up to 24 months.
Your Rights
Under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), you have the following ARCO rights: — Access: request information about the personal data we hold about you. — Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. — Cancellation: request deletion of your personal data when you believe it is not being processed in accordance with applicable principles and duties. — Opposition: object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes. For users in the European Union (GDPR), we also recognize the rights of data portability, restriction of processing, and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making.
